New Partnership Updates 1/20/17


We're off to a hot start

It's been a solid start to 2017 on the partnership side, so I wanted to give a complete rundown of all of the new partnerships that will be kicking off in the very near future. It's important that everyone completely understands the scope of each one.

'Wichcraft | New York, NY

Brand Summary & Key Points: 

  • A sandwich and bowl fast-casual concept co-founded by Tom Colichio (of Top Chef fame) and his former sous-chef.
  • 9 total locations all in NYC with more on the way
    • Will be opening in the lower level of Grand Central next to Shake Shack / where Junior's used to be
  • Underwent a rebrand last year and are looking to improve their collateral and messaging to be a bit more playful and synergistic

Scope of Work: Design Retainer (Token System):

  • 24 Tokens Per Month


KoJa Kitchen | San Francisco, CA

Brand Summary & Key Points: 

  • KoJa (aka: Korean-Japanese) is a special gourmet sandwich featuring Korean and Japanese ingredients
  • Instead of wheat buns, KoJa uses freshly made crispy garlic rice buns
  • 5 locations with more on the way (currently franchising)
  • Was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives

Hops Culture | Aspen, CO

Brand Summary & Key Points: 

  • Over 200 beers from around the world, but more than just a tap house or beer hall
  • Food-wise they can hold their own with other well-known establishments within Aspen's burgeoning food scene
  • American comfort food in a casual setting
  • They offer table-side 'smores!!
  • One location in Aspen with a second on the way in another Colorado mountain town

  • Specific Requests
    • They want a dynamic way to showcase their revolving beer offerings

Mason Dixie Biscuits | Washington, D.C.

Brand Summary & Key Points: 

  • Southern American comfort food centered around biscuits
  • They started as a pop-up shop and are expanding to a Drive-Thru location, a full-service restaurant, and a scalable fast-casual
  • They have a successful wholesale line for their frozen biscuits which are sold at Whole Foods and other well-known retailers
  • Since the shop opened in 2014, they have sold out every single day!!!

Scope of Work: Branding / Web Design & Development

  • Short-term branding project that will lead to later development (specific branding for each outlet i.e. Drive-In, Full-Service, Fast-Casual, Wholesale)
  • Custom Website Design & Development that will kickoff once branding is finalized
